I'm an aircraft engineer for Virgin Atlantic, I've been riding bikes continuously since i was 15.....that's a long time ago now! I like to build & modify any bike that I own as standard bikes just don't float my boat, they're always too slow, too heavy, don't handle, have some design flaw or any number of reasons that they ain't perfect. For example, my Hayabusa was too heavy, too slow, didn't have enough power & the standard paint scheme was horrible. It was still underpowered at 178BHP & was still a bit slow but I've sold it now & am now regressing into classic bikes as they are much more fun to get to go faster & handle. Currently working on a Moto Guzzi mk 2 Le Mans & a Suzuki GT750. Riding a Yamaha FJR1300 like a loon if the wife isn't on the back!
