Been reading up on off roading and the current laws surrounding it. Ive studied maps of my area in great detail trying to find a place to ride my bike.. Is it me or is there practially no where for us to go?

I cant find a public byway anywhere on the OS maps surrounding me. I dont want to join a club (yet) but seems its my only option.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Im in devon if it helps.

Theres so many nice places here. I'd love to ride through dartmoor but from what Ive found it seems like the only place a bike can go is on the roads which is damn boring when your bike only does 60mph at a push Sad
