Hi everyone,
Right, I'm new to all this off road stuff, will hopefully be buying something cheap to mess around on and get dirty in the very near future!

Basically I was wondering if theres a website or something with a list of off road tracks as I have no idea of where I can "officially" do and learn some off roading. Im in Nottingham if anyone knows off any good sites near by?

Cheers!

Chris

For a listing of MX practice tracks look here:
https://adrenalintrip.extreme.com/forum/viewforum/89?siteid=6

Some of these will have seperate beginner tracks, where you can learn the basics without having to face huge jumps and nutty racers. Alternatively try to find the local "play area" by talking to people around your home town, something like a piece of waste ground or disused quarry - these are usually only found by word of mouth.

If you want to get into green laning, try the TRF (Trail Riders Fellowship) for a first port of call:
https://www.trf.org.uk/trfgroups.php

They usually have organised rides once a month, followed by a piss up in the pub. It's a good way to learn where your local trails are, if you don't fancy trying to decipher OS maps yourself. Beware though, they have a reputation for being a bit "mature". Think beards and pipe tobacco... Wink
