Hi, What do you lot think of the Yamaha XT125 X Design/shape wise? A good looking bike? Ive been looking for an eye catching reliable commuter for a while and are considering this seeing as it comes with free insurance. Any owners out there amongst you?

thanks

I've got one. Yeah it's a nice little bike (when I say little, i mean little - looks like a little toy along side the dt)

It's all good though, cheap to run (I get around 125 miles till the light comes on - really depends how you ride though) Picks up nicely going up hills, accelerates quickly to 55 and tops out at 72. The standard light it comes with is rubbish, can replace a new one for about £7, Quite a big improvement. Insurance is free, thats always a bonus... Nice looking bike. Exaust is Naff, seems like its restricted alot, very quiete (Dangerous if you ask me - people can't hear you unless you sit up their ass with 9000 revs....) also doesn't seem to be many parts for it atm...

thats abit it really pm me if you want to know anything i didn't already explain........

*edit - not sure how old this thread is but nobody answered so don't moan!!!!!!!

72mph aint bad to be honest. My dt with the powervalve and rev limiter derestriction will pull 70mph downhill. I do about the same mileage on a tank too and the comment about the exhaust is like my DT aswell. Its so quiet its spooky. Im almost inaudable doing say 30mph at 4k..
