drz info please...

hi there,

im really considering buying one of these, so just want to ask a few questions id like to know about the suzuki drz 400sm

*does anyone know what the top speed is?
*what is the fuel consumption like?
*is it reliable?
*and what is the service intervals like?

if anyone could answer these, that would be great, thanks.

Top speed depends on gearing, I think stock is about 100. Mine's an E model and is afaik downgeared to a top speed of nearer 80 (and since that's all the tyres are rated for that doesn't seem a bad thing ).

Compared to other more serious SM/Enduro bikes the DRZ requires less in the way of servicing (intervals in miles, not hours) and is generally pretty bulletproof.

Fuel economy is good but I am not sure of any exact figures as I tend to fill up fairly regularly (no trip counter on my E and a memory like a sieve ).
