I have a 98 montesa cota 315r. The tires on it are worn out so i am looking for some new ones. Where is the best place to get them and what are the best ones to get?

Thanks in advance

Andy

You want to get a Michellin X11, thats what I have on my trials bike (Honda TLR, my dad has one on his as well ) , A Mont 315 is a old ish trials bike so you will need a new tube at the same time (£10 each), EVERY ONE in the 6 trials clubs I go to use them ,NO ONE uses anything else. that's around 400 riders that all use the same make and model tire, if you are looking for a superb tire get one of theses, cost wise they are just under £80 each, free fitting.
Get them form your local motorcycle tire shop.
If you want to go for a ok ish tire get a Dunlop but they cost around £70 so if I were you I would spend the £10 extra for a much better tire.
Hope this helps you a bit?
Any questions just ask.
Cheers,
Jamie.

EDIT: THE PRICES ARE FOR EACH TIRE NOT 2 !

The montesa is tubeless?? Also i can only seem to find rear tyres on the net. 4' by 18'. Do they do the size for the front or do i need a different tyre for the front?

What are the pirelli ones like?

They are cr*p to put it simply , they don't last very long and have no grip what so ever. it goes with out saying "you get what you pay for"
