OK, I got myself a road reg'd DRZ400 at the weekend to piss about on off road. Problem is I can't find anywhere local to me (Staffordshire) to ride off road legally.

I've searched t'internet looking for places to go and just can't find anywhere. On Saturday I went off road in places that I perhaps shouldn't and although I didn't ride like a hooligan when other people were present walking their dogs etc, they all looked at me like I'd walked into their house on Xmas day and shat on their kids! And two people took pics of my no plate on their phones, I was only off road for 15 mins!

So my question is, anyone know where I can ride legally (Or at least without getting grief) in Staffordshire / Derbyshire / Cheshire or where I might look to find more info?
