...will be for sale soon, so just giving it a little TLC for its next owner. Not my usual 6 month turnaround, so not going into as much detail, but I'd rather advertise the bike as 'good condition for year' rather than 'fair condition'.

Sidepanels before and after:

Ditto the pillion pegs:

And the bike's insides:

Still got a few bits and pieces to do: rearsets, touch up the frame, rad covers, top yoke area, as well as a bit of a service, but hopefully will become presentable when I start advertising it. Fiddly working in the backgarden too, having had all the other work spaces taken up by my other bikes.

How have you cleaned up the shiny metal parts? Just autosol and a fuck load of patience?

What CC is it? 400? How much will you be asking? Nice bike and good job Smile

Just rubbed a few areas down with wet and dry, to give a brushed aly finish (it's not mirror shine, just a satin). I started the work yesterday, after about 6 month's daily use (with washing every fortnight or so). Shows it's not hard to tidy up an 18 year old bike - must have taken 6 hours or so so far. It's far from mint, but a bit more sellable now. I'll give it a few finishing touches plus a quick service, but most of it's there now.

Hoping to get around £650, but open to offers. Thumbs Up

Looks really nice, I must say. What are they like to ride?

For some reason it looks really long....is that just me?

They're similar to a Hornet to ride. Less poke, but a better chassis and suspension.

Just you on the length of the bike - it's smaller than an NC30...

According to my insurance certificate it's group 6 (although that seems to vary between insurance companies).

Brilliant little bikes, very forgiving & inspiring, best ridden as if riding a two stroke sports.
