If you were to be stranded in the jungle or somewhere like that with one of these, which one would it be?

Personally i think Ray Mears kicks arse.

Opinions please.

I think good old Ray would go a bit easier on me. There's be no rush to 'get the hell outta here!!' we'd just take our time, maybe rustle up a keich out of bracken or something.

Much more pleasent Smile

Since bear grylls got caught producing effects in a studio and general exaderation for TV (henst the disclaimer at the start of his programs now), l would go with ray as hes a proper proven survivalist.

Ray Mears all the way, I was laughing at that retard Bear dude trying to climb out of a freezing lake. Only to discover his fire had gone out and start doing naked pressups in minus 10 or something.

Also his tips weren't specialist knowledge or anything just common sense. Ray Mears could make a meal from a blade of grass!

Ray all the way.
He knows Judo too, which could be useful in case we encounter ninjas.

I saw a program with him and Ewan on the Discovery channel.

Basically the pair of them went on a trek through the jungle and Ewan was moaning like a child the whole way.

Oh it's cold, oh I'm wet. If i got the chance to do something like that with Ray Mears, i'd appreciate it rather than whine like a child.

It defo changed my opinion on Ewan. Thumbs Down

I hate bear grylls with an absolute passion.
His programs really make me laugh when he is running along some dodgy ice path and hes slipping and falling all over, yet the cameraman seems to be a professional skier.
Clever.
