Hi,

Can anyone recommend some where cheap online to buy an abba stand? Best I can find is £89 but then adding on the fittings and postage this comes to around £105.

What is the usual price for a stand in the shops?

Thanks

do mean just a general paddock stand for the rear of the bike???? if so you can one off ebay for £30 comes with universal fixings which clamp onto the swing arm, or for an extra £8 get a set of hooks to use with swing arm spools

I think he means an Abba stand, not a paddock stand.

I thought they were about £90, but haven't checked their prices recently.

They generally aren't discounted heavily anywhere.

I bought mine direct from the Abba website, I seem to recall it being under £100 posted.

Even when they do come up on ebay they still make a fair amount. When I was looking they were going for £80+ ! Silly money considering the price of a brand new one.

You'll be hard pushed to get one discounted anywhere.

Bought mine from a guy selling locally for £50. Sold the Blackbird fitting kit in ebay and paid the £5 difference for the Ninja kit so got it for £55 all in.

Keep an eye out.

Just bought it direct from abba for £98 including postage and fittings. Seems about as cheap as I can find it.

Would recommend the stand, I borrowed one from a mate a few weeks back and it was so much easier then using the front and rear paddock stand.

Thanks for the input.

i just built my own from the pics in busters and a some help of a cbr forum....didnt make the twat wide enbough though and on first try it went up against the brake lever and bent the sod backwards...
.
have to ride round now with me foot out like a banana...

as anyone who knows about em will know....works a treat though...a lot easier to do on your own without the balancing act of the rear paddock....

forgot to mention....apologies if hijacking thread...

dont supposr anyone has one for a cbr fs...as the one i made only uses a m7 bolt to hold up the left hand side and not confident its strong enough...just wondered what oem fittings are like....
