I've been out a couple of times around Cambridgeshire, and on both trips we've managed to drown a bike (or two).

A little dunk in a river. Both rider and bike were fine, although we did have to drain the exhaust, airbox and carb, pump out the cylinder and spray the electrics with water.

And on Good Friday, a trip up to Ely:

That's a byway, not a river. The sign at the end of the lane said "Closed ahead for safety reasons", so we thought we'd see how far we could get. I think we went too far.

We're going to add a Plimsoll line to the bikes for next time Very Happy

Glad I wasn't on the 990 really...!
