CRF450X, opinions?

I've been looking at changing my XR250 for something bigger that can be used as supermoto or offroad. Looking at CRF450X's and am interested in these.

Has anyone here owned one of these and if so how did you get on with it, good stuff, bad stuff, maintenance hassles, anything and everything really?

They are good bikes the CRFX series, and the 08 model 450 has a steering dampner as standard aswell.

They have been considered by some as a "Big play bike" due to the easy going nature and very useable powerband.

I would also have a look at the WR450F aswell, abit more aggressive but service intervals are abit shorter than the honda from what i have read.

But if you have your heart set on the CRF i don't think you can go wrong, all you will need will be a road legaliser kit if you want it on the road.
