Aren't they a german bike. Think I saw a mag advert with a few of their bikes. Looks a lot better than the CBR125 which is a four stroke I believe.
But for 125 four strokers it has to be the yamaha SR125 I did my CBT on! lol ____________________ Nealski

Yeah there a German manufacture, although the engine is a suzuki one (an FX125 i believe).
It's been rock solid since i've had it only problem i have had was a blown parking light bulb!
The engine i so much smoother than the cg powered chinese thing i did my test on, and it revs very quickly it does give 2 stroke 125's a run for there money to about 40-50, mainly because of the torque it produces is relatively high. Tops out around 85mph without completely revving its nuts off, but slightly in the red! ____________________ It was like that before i got here! |

I like the look of the Sachs...
Very Doocati inspired, if I do say so. Maybe if Ducati made 125 sports then that's how it would look???
Aren't they a bit pricey for a 125 though??? I heard thy're just under 4000!!! Maybe that ain't true.
You'll wish you just kept the money for the SV, I know I wouldn't have bought my NSR if I had another chance. Too much money for what you get (performance wise).

I don't know about that. As a 2-stroke there didn't sell that many, maybe down to it not looking as good and also publiCity, but the amount imported in to the country had to be doubled because the demand out stripped supply.
At the time i only had a provisional and didn't want to carry on a 2 stroke 50 as it's wet even full power! My mother had a lot to do with what i brought due to her not wanting my on bikes so i couldn't get a 125 to start and would definitely not be able to of got anything bigger.(Though thats all changed with me taking her out on it and showing her what it's like and what biking is all about and shes doing her CBT for mothers day!! )
I liked the look and i due to distance work i do to uni a 2 stroke wasn't really a safe option in the long run. ____________________ It was like that before i got here! |

In comparison to a 2-stroke, what sort of power output are we talking about then? At the wheel not the crank. ____________________ Current bike: VTR1000F Firestorm. Previous: Firestorm (written off) - XJ600 Divvy - NSR125 - DT125 and a load of offroaders. |

Ouch that's a bit pants, no offence intended AD. Good for a 4 Stroke though I suppose. ____________________ Current bike: VTR1000F Firestorm. Previous: Firestorm (written off) - XJ600 Divvy - NSR125 - DT125 and a load of offroaders. |

Did you buy from new .
For that price you could have bought 2 or 3 decent second hand 2 strokes.
Anyway, if you enjoy it and you got the money, then good for you I suppose . |
