Join your local TRF.

https://www.trf.org.uk/

Some groups are better than others but they will show you all the legal lanes and help you mark up your maps etc.

We heard you the first time, no need to post about your company in every thread. Rolling Eyes

For finding places to offroad, a good starting place is getting some OS Landranger maps and looking for byways on them. They're marked as + - + - + - + - + - and you're allowed on those. Thumbs Up

If you're doing it 100% by the book then you're meant to check with the Rights of Way Officer at your local council to see which (if any) byways have got TROs in place (traffic restriction order) which happens from time to time to allow the byways to recover if they've been damaged lots by 4x4's and bikes.

But if its marked as a byway on the map you're allowed there unless there's a TRO in place, generally it's fairly easy to see which byways you're not allowed on (signs, or physically blocked at the ends). But thats not to say they have to put signs up if there's a TRO. Laughing
