Anyone get out today? Don't think the weather was too great down south was it? Up here in Ssscchotland, it was fabtastic, cold but bright as fook and DRY.

the whole squad of us were meant to be going out -

1 ZXR750
1 GSXR750
3 GSXR600
1 Ducati 996
1 R6-R
1 ZX636 C6f

As it turned out, only 2 of us went. Thumbs Down Excuses galore, Golf, drunk, working, skint, shagging a sheep, you name it.

They don't know what they missed.

Here is our route for anyone interested - Our route

Took my mate down the Devil's beeftub - who looked at me as if I was offering sex when I used that name - dry roads, but a bit cold.

Never noticed the transit van at the bottom of the hill before.

The Devil's Beeftub

According to the auld broad in the petrol station in Moffat, it was an insurance job by some wummin.

Down into Moffat, where we had a bite to eat in a wee place called "The Rumbling Tum" ...I highly recommend the BLT ...bacon was awesome, like how bacon tasted when I was a kid!

The hand dryer in the mens toilet is hotter than the surface of the sun, so be warned!

After this, it was back up towards the beeftub, but took the B719 to the left over the hills and came down over the M74 (funny how even a motorway can look good when you are directly above it)

Then it was down the Dalveen pass to Carronbridge, then along the A76 to Mennock, turning up the B797 (Mennock pass).

Such a lovely day.

Refueled at Abington, where a bird on a PINK CBR1000RR came in for fuel. Complete with PINK SCARF / PINK RUCKSACK etc etc

At least I hope it was a girl Neutral

Out the service station and its a Grand Prix from one roundabout to the next Laughing Well into triple figures, silly silly boys.

From here on, basically followed the Clyde Valley Tourist Route all the way home to Glasgow.

Ball shrivellinglylylyly cold, but awesome all the same. Thumbs Up
