Just thought I would post some pics of my bike and the little things I am doing to it along to way.

Its a Honda CB400 Superfour

I bought it off another member of the forum for 600 squids a couple of months back.

This is what it looked like when I bought it

And these are some pictures taken a couple of weeks ago:

It doesn't look much different but I have done a few little things to it:

New handlebars
New mirrors
New taillight
Modified the back end and added a small plate with new numberplate bracket
New indies
New speedo drive
Fork seals
Brake pads
Different clocks (displaying mph)

Pictures to come

Pic of the new taillight
Pic of my bodge 'tail tidy' job with small plate.

To do list

Clean the carbs
De-restrict it Very Happy
Get the seat re covered.

Overall its a nice bike, can do about a ton, gets to 90 fairly quickly then slowly creeps up, hopefully it will be a bit faster without the 33bhp washers in. Has a lovely sounding exhaust handling is ok as are the brakes.

Had my knee down a few times and have done a couple of wheelies in first gear (it doesn't seem to want to come up at all in second)

Updates to come.

Nice bike, not sure about the 'fighter lights, but oh well.

My CB1 used to run out of puff just over a ton, so removing the washers should liberate a little more go.

Well that is not including the money I have spent on it.

I've lost count of all the things I have bought for it and a crazy ex girlfriend did push it over causing some damage and grief!
