What's the deal with this website https://www.motinfo.gov.uk/

I want to use it to look up a missing advisory sheet that should have accompanied a test certificate, so fairly important when buying a car, yet the site doesn't work, and there's no way I'm paying £1.50 a minute to use the phoneline. A google reveals others complaining it doesn't work back to September, how can they possibly let this site vanish? It's printed on all MOT documents...

It doesn't give me an advisory sheet (I'd expect there was one as I checked up on the FX400 I got off tatters Smile ) but it gave me last MOT details when I put in the reg and v5 doc number. This was MOT done in 2006, though.

I used the site sometime between the 1st and 20th of September and it did produce, on screen, details of the MOT advisory items on it's most recent MOT.

Bit ridiculous the site hasn't been active for so long.

Typically i've just tried again and it now works Rolling Eyes

It does indeed give the advisory notices that were issued on the most recent MOT, one mystery solved Smile

I only came across that site when the dealer selling me the Frontera showed me last week, good idea, when it works...
