Here is a few pictures of my latest project bike that I got on Saturday.
It's a BSA bantam D10 that I'm making it in to a Trials bike to use in Pre 65/twinshock competitions.
Firstly I will need to source and Engine, hopefully a 175cc, 4 speed.
Here is what I have done so far:

The bike as I got it:

Most of the un needed tin work removed:

Sherco front end fitted: (off a 2001 Trials bike)

Longer rear shocks, well, one, fitted:

And thats it so far, Will update the thread as and when things get done.
Thanks for looking, Jamie.

Surely changing the front end will render it void for pre65 stuff, considering the front end is now, well, 2001.

Neutral

Only in National rounds, it could be entered in twin shock any way if people get fussy.
Do you acctualy think that many "pre 65" bikes have the original parts in side the fork legs? most are made up of modern innards, billet yokes, tubeless aluminum rims, the lot.

Thought I would up date this thread, A mate of mine is making a spacer for the forks, and I have also sourced a 175cc d7 bantam engine for just £70, so Once I get it delivered fitted ill hopefully be able to get on with the project a bit quicker, progress has been slower than I would of liked. I have also been working on the Cb550 race bike in the mean time though.

Nice mate. Good base for a project. You had a rolling chassis! Smile
