Went to a local bike shop earlier in Thirsk.
I've traded my Derbi Senda in and i got £1000 for it Very Happy

I was only expecting to get about £600 trade.

Anyway, i've got myself a lovely RS125 99 model (W reg)
Low mileage, full power and a recent engine rebuild.
Its not home yet but it should be either next week or the week after.
(i'm in no rush as i've still got the NS to blast around on)

As for insurance, i haven't got a quote for it yet. I will get one next week.

I think it could be an import as the speedo's main face is in KM's..unless they're all like this Confused

Nice RS, looks like a very good example. Is it full power, also that's a good deal you got on the Derbi as most places usually bump you on trade prices. Should be alot more fun than the NS, go power valve go Wink

haha.. i've been told that its full power by both the dealership and one of the mechanics there. i'll have to wait and see if they're telling the truth Wink

i was expecting them to say about £600 trade off the Derbi, in that case i would have told them where to put it. Razz

finally got the RS today Very Happy

i'm pleased with the bike and it runs perfect just well... its very slow lol
it wont rev over 8000rpm so it obviously doesn't have a working powervalve and it has the damn flat spot between 5000 and 6000rpm or wherever the hell it is Razz

to make it even more "interesting", since its had a full engine rebuild, i need to run the sucker in! grrr angry me. As soon as i have 200 miles on the mile clock, i'll be getting a powervalve stuck in the side! Twisted Evil

well it wont rev higher than 8000rpm, thats half of what its top revs are. i ain't pushing it, i'm still getting used to the feel of yet another bike.

as for pic size, sorry about that. i forgot to change the settings on my cam before i took them and i cant be bothered to take anymore now (its all locked up and sleeping for the night) Wink
