Here you go Gaz -

Johnny Haynes - Chief Riding Coach CSS gives an expert view...

The latest sport tyre from Dunlop and aimed at the serious track day rider or club racer who can't afford a 16.5 inch conversion! These are essentially the GP racer without tread, so they do not have the negative characteristics of full on race slicks: dangerous when cold, slow to heat up, must use warmers at all times etc. On the plus side they offer amazing grip and feel (I use feel a lot when talking about Dunlops, you will see what I mean when you use them!) and will last longer than a treaded tyre used under the same conditions. They come in standard sizes so there is no need to adjust geometry, swingarm length or gearing to be able to fit them, just chuck them on and go!

Thumbs Up

What exactly do you want to know Confused.

Even 'normal' slicks can be used without tyre warmers in most conditions; I'd go with tyre warmers on treaded track tyres given the choice anyway, though.
