i was on msn yesterday and this random person started talking to me, claiming that he knew me from mcn ninjas (which i'm not a member of) and then he quickly changed his mind and said he knew me from BCF. When i asked him for his user name he said he wasn't a member but he went on this site and just took my msn address from my profile?

has this happened to anyone else?

i'm just thinking should existing members personal details be held back from guests and unregistered users? this guy seemed to be taking advantage of the open user profiles to me Confused

It doesn't bother me cos nobody gets on my msn list unless I authorise them.

i did authorise it but only because my friend has a similar sounding email address (long story). i know i can easily block the person which doesnt bother me, i was just saying in general do people take advantage of the user profiles?

It just sounds to me like some dickhead who was maybe trying to get lucky,I expect you're user name being Leggy_Girl just caught his eye!

If he was in any way rude or abusive to you you could always report him to MSN.
