The thing on the ZX12R tank is a shopping list holder. You write out your shopping list and stick it on their so you remember what to get when out shopping.

Why not cut the airtube back and inch at the top and 2 inch at the bottom to creat an angle, then smooth it off, would stop it sticking out, and look smart IMO.

It's all rather weird. Only Kawasaki could have thought up that idea.

I believe the original goldiwing had a similar design, a few other bikes have that sort of tank.

Kawasaki did it so that they would have enough space for the air box where they wanted it I believe.

Personally I think MrC's bikes is much nicer though Razz.

I can't even remember what colour it is, but it's pretty cosemtically standard... he's spent the money where (to me) it's important... and made a bike that people will want to look at for (to me again) the right reasons Smile.

Oh and ... I wasn't saying a tarts hand bag was a bad thing Wink... just offering a counter opinion to others expressed here... note the Razz, commonly suggesting a joke Smile.

I like the rear of the bike. Thumbs Up
The pic shows it really nicely.

Its good, because, lets face it, its the view that will be seen most often...seeing its a 12er and all.
