Karma suggestions & spelling ratings

Would it be possible, and what would other peoples views be on making the karma system have a feature where you can give good or bad karma without a post rating, like the system was when originally made? I say this as people do help you via PM's, or send you a PM which if it was a post you'd give a good or a bad rating, and would be useful if it was possible to give them positive (or negative if seems appropriate) karma for their help/ annoyance.

Also, I think it would be useful it not only when you click to see someones profile it shows you where they have used post ratings in the last 30 days, to have it showing where they have gained or loss karma from post ratings from the past 30 days. Would be useful generally, and will (not saying it is a problem!) mean people can see where there are clique type things happenings, as it would still be quite easy to have one going I reckon.

Also, when the karma system was first made along with the spell checker it showed in someones profile what their spelling level was, would it be possible to bring this back, as other than if you're in the top or bottom 10 spellers you have no real way of knowing what level your spelling is at. Not important really, just interesting to be able to know. Might be useful if it gave like a score rather than just a ranking level, like the score as a percentage of words you spell correctly as this would be quite interesting to see.

What does everyone else reckon of these ideas?

If I could gice Karma to people the I know there are plenty of times when I would've done this, first one that springs to mind os someone that gave me a very useful link yesterday, I could rate his post but this made no real effect on the persons bad karma.
