You know in the forum main index page in the list of the forums, it says who the last post in that forum was by and the time of it. Have seen on some other forums where there is also a link to go to that thread where the latest post has been, and I think this would be of some use, as knowing there has been a reply is shown by the https://www.bikechatforums.com/templates/standard/images/folder_big.gif being changed to the yellow one, and the time and all that of the post isn't of too much interest really, is much more interesting ot useful to know what thread it is in.

What do others think of this? Wouldn't be a big thing to add in, wouldn't make the page any bigger as it'd fit in the table with ease and the page will be slightly larger file size but not any bigger that it will make a difference really.

If you vote on the poll, would also be useful to reply explaining your reasons behind your vote. Thumbs Up

It will increase server load, and not serve a huge purpose.

the more usefult hin gi saw which is along a similar line, showed the titles of the last 3 threads you posted in, with them highlighted if there have been any replys.
This at least helps people who are waiting for a reply, or wish to pick up an old discussion

If you're waiting for any replies try ticking the box which say "Notify me when a reply is posted" and it will send you an email when anyone replies to that thread. The box to tick is just under the box where you type a post. Thumbs Up

It won't increase server load by any real amount to make it noticable. It would increase the server load less than having signature displayed.

Another idea following on from your suggestion about thread you've replied in being highlighted, have seen before on other forums not just the https://www.bikechatforums.com/templates/standard/images/folder.gif and the yellow one when there are new posts, but different ones to indicate ones which you've posted in. Would also be useful I think, so again what are people views on this idea? Thumbs Up

I don't think the first idea would be much use and would just be annoying but..

Both unnecessary, IMO.

It's not that hard to remember which threads you've posted in, is it? Never bothered me.

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 19 years, 268 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
