This question is from a mate.

Hey, does anybody have any advice for setting up the rear shock on a bandit 600.
It is my first big bike and I didn't even realise you could adjust the suspension until last week.
I am 9.5stone and the back wheel has a tendancy to skip over even the smallest of bumps. Is this normal or can it be adjusted out?

Thanks for looking.

You will not be able to do all the settings in the vid because your shock will not have some of the adjusters, but its a good start to set the sag correctly.

You won't be able to set rebound and compression damping, but if you only weigh 9.5 stone you'll need to reduce the rear spring preload.
I've got a PDF suspension setup guide, but there is an attachment size limit on BCF and I currently have no web hosting. If you PM Me your email address I'll email it to you.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
