|
|
I was removing my air box the other day and i noticed a gold plate with holes in it covering the end of my carb. I have added a photo so you can see, i was wondering if it was a restrictor. If you do know please tell me |

computid that is the dumbest thing ive heard today (its only 7am so don't feel too bad)restricting the air flow is the same as restricting the engine
that little plate is what a restricter is in every sense of the word,
of course it will run like shit when you remove it, it has been set up to run like that, it will need to be re-jetted
most carbs do not have them, in fact in 25 years of riding and and over double that number of bikes ive never seen that particular way of restricting before ____________________ the humans are dead

Yes its is a derbi carb for the Derbi D50BO engine. Thanks dobby for the help. Because i bought a gianelli exhaust for my bike and it didnt work, i rejeted it, put a new reed valve in it and put a performance air filter on it. And the exhaust still didnt work, the bike would just stay on 5 thousand rpm and wouldnt move from it :L So i think i know what is wrong |
