I'm looking for a low priced supermoto just to get me around and low insurance, now does anyone know where CPI originates? if its chinese I aint touching it, and how much would a 2008 cpi 50 sx would be worth, has anyone owned one and can speak from experience?

jeez I can't find it anywhere when I type the company name in, might leave it and get a yamaha dt instead for a bit more, if it was european I might have considered it

I know someone who has a 50cc CPI scooter. Its nothing special but it seems to get the job done. Personally, I would avoid as I can see getting parts might be quite difficult and the build quality probably isnt great.

A mate has the bike that you speak of.

Its fine and has never let him down and I have friends with other bikes (including myself) that are worse.

I believe CPI actually stands for Chinese Power Industries but don't quote me on that.

There was a CPI for sale at a race meet once. It had been tricked out and looked awesome. To me, it looked as though you'd be struggling to find something much nicer in a 50.
