You are pretty much there really. Other than cutting the photo off at the bottom of the screen.

There are two images I used, one was the photo and the other was Scratchy riding his bike.

Put the photo on the same coloured background as the screen that the photos is going to appear, this way there is no clear line around the whole picture if you see what I mean. So in your post above, I would have used colour code - F8F5FB which is the colour of your reply to my post. My image would not have worked as well on this background, hence I linked to my own site to ensure it was the right colour.

Once I have cut the photo he was riding into out, I added a drop shadow to make the image look 3D from the background colour. Also I gave the perspective that the photo was angled by the way I cut out the image.

Then I finally added the bike in over itself in the photo to maintain the perspective properly.

Good first go, my final image was number 5, the first 4 just did not work!

Cool

Any better?

https://www.cwimedia.co.uk/other/misc/3dattempt2.jpg

Or this??

https://www.cwimedia.co.uk/other/misc/3dattempt3.jpg

I don't think my images are good enough quality to get the full effect, but I think I've got the photoshop technique right?

The colour code was for the lighter green colour, I just done a print screen and picked the colour from there Smile

Thanks for the tutorial! Looks a good photoshop trick, just need some super high quality pics to play with now Laughing
