|
|
I've got my eye on a second hand system 3 that could be going cheap. It specifies its for a Tiger 955, but I'll be installing it on the Daytona.
Now, from what I gather it's all plug and play with triumph and the connectors are the same through all years which is the big white connector in the photo.
Does anyone have any experience with installing an alarm on a triumph and know where the other wires go to?
Here is the pic:

Well the big block is obviously the main connector. The pressure switch goes under the seat (near the back by the catch on the speed four). The small black connector should hook up to another lead for the all important flashing LED.
The bullet connectors controls functions like beeping when armed.
I think the system 3 manual is on the datatool site ____________________ NSR 125F > BROS 400 > NC30 > BROS 400 > Trumpet S4 > '97 VFR 750 |

I know they are shit, I have one on the Honda and it is soo bad.
But, I can by-pass this at the side of the road in about 5 mins if needed. Its only so it goes off if someone tries to move it! ____________________ CBT Passed: 30/08/2009, Theory Passed: 31/08/2010, Mod 1 Passed: 6/9/2010, Mod 2 Passed: 13/09/2010. Restriction ended 13/09/2012.
