My Sachs.

Had a few issues to sort on it, Seems to be fine and reasonably reliable now. Would like to do some mods on it but think I'm just going to save the cash for tests.

my cb 125 t2 !! I bought her for 400 and rode 40 miles home on it in the dark, 6v electrics and cable operated disc lol its my cuppa tea though! Unbelievably it DOES OVER 100 MPG this shocked me for a 31 yr old bike though i dont go much over 50mph on it but.... it can get to 50 very quickly (for a 125) with revs left in 3rd gear! and @ nightshadow looks like your red 82 tdc has same engine as mine!

My first 125, RS, was a bag of shite, guy started her up to show me her running. Came home, sprayed it white, which shoon got messed up, did CBT, fired her up and she wouldn't go anywhere without bogging out. After some help on here I finally got her running, but not brilliantly so we parted ways. (was de restricted, should have taken the power valve etc off & saved it or sold it on).. Sold for £700 (same as I paid, then the guy 2 days later had it up for sale for £1300, hahaha - nob).

https://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/208053_1954643310794_1384021063_32212789_5189658_n.jpg

Second bike, yep another RS 125 lol, this time ran fine, few issues with starter motor, so I bodge fixed the brushes.

https://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/375336_2746289861463_1384021063_33018381_728809952_n.jpg

Then I got hit whilst stationary at a roundabout by a cager and insurance raped him & loaned me this.. Kymco Agility RS 125 Sick Was pretty nippy though tbh, goes faster than my bloody XR lol..

https://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/298318_2307795299373_1384021063_32670798_13020_n.jpg

Here's my current bike, only use it for the work commute, can't find any greenlanes close to home. Very boring, but good on fuel. I don't have a picture taken, but you get the idea.. Minus the mirrors & luggage rack.

https://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/392064_2762844995331_1384021063_33024211_1450137104_n.jpg

And what I'm currently working on.. Can you guess what it is? Mr. Green

https://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/397376_2926441045130_1384021063_33099105_1100086052_n.jpg

Looking into doing up the RS, selling the XR & doing my test (restricted) this year & then derestricting it & hope it will last me out for 2 year & decide where to go from there (no claims & all that, I'm not on the biggest of wages, so I couldn't afford insurance & a big bike this year, got finance's to pay off etc).. I'm quite content with bumbling along on 125's for the time being.

Cool

Here's my previous 125.
Was road legal for a bit, it's on 12" wheels. Frame is a modified pit bike frame, engine is a TZR125 powervalve engine.

I do miss it, it was my RS125 muncher. Laughing

https://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/427640_10150553203550606_506045605_8870865_1870049609_n.jpg

And my current 125s.
Technically the blue one is a 140cc. But the bottom end is from a 125. Just fitted with a 140 barrel and piston. And a tuned 140 head.
The red one is a 125cc. Soon to be semi auto. Very Happy

40,000miles Very Happy I might even catch you up one day !
I finally got around to fitting a Fenda Extenda just yesterday whilst the front wheel was off for a new tyre.
It didn't need one but the deal on a pair of sporty's meant it wasn't worth keeping it on there.
The rear sporty had done 6,300 miles and was close for replacement, being under 2mm in places.
Also tried to buy a screen but the Yamaha ones are no longer available.

Only passed my cbt a couple of weeks ago but, plan to get rid of those L plates pretty soon and step up to something bigger. In the mean time though, this little beauty does me just fine. Smile

My 1978 CG125 K1

It came to me as you see it here, with a box or two of parts. This was in May last year. As of the moment, it's looking a lot prettier and is almost sorted (just some dreaded electric issues to sort).

It looks basically the same as it would have new, theres just some more black parts (chain guard being one of them). I've also changed how the seat would look from having piping round the edge to the cover being pop riveted on - the piping we had was crap and to get new was more than I was willing to pay. Besides, a pop riveted seat looks cool. I'll post pictures of how it looks now as soon as I get 20 seconds to actually go home to essex haha.
