Didn't think it was worth putting it in workshop...

I'm looking for a seat cowl for my er5, like the ones on cb500's I've seen raced. Can't find one anywhere so was wondering if anybody knew where I could get one?

Thanks in advance,

Steve.

Anybody? Sad

They don't do one for the GPZ so I'd imagine one for the ER is even less likely.

I'm not necessarily after an ER5 specific one, I'd be quite happy with one I could make to fit.

I've seen a few ER5 thundersport bikes with single seat units...I'm wondering if maybe they're the same ones made for cb500's?

Bit pricey and its for an A model.

Could use the pic for inspiration and make your own.

IIRC Pyramid make one for the GPZ500 (first gen)
Got a mate with one..looks a bit odd to me

Not that common ...and probably quite pricey if you could find one

a Google search has found another co making them

Looks completely gash though

Can also get fiberglass "racey" fairings and tail pieces for the GPZ500 (Airtech)..but they are not cheap - and will also have import duty on them bumping the cost to dizzy heights

Prettiest of the bunch IMHO but totally impractical
I would miss my grab handle for man handling the bike about

Not seen one for the ER5 I guess a naked bike is less likely to have this sort of thing available

Perhaps try and graft one you like to fit is the only real option..not an easy task- but certainly do able

Regards
Rob
