okay.... so theres some good bits and some bad bits.

good:

engine runs, no smoke, stuff that should get warm does.

brand new bosch agm battery $$$

brand new tyres front and rear michelin somthings $$$

no major damage to anything.

all electrics seem to work.

bad:

the downpipes are fucked

one exhaust stud snapped (got 7 out) BASTARD

large chunk of exhaust stuck in the head

front discs shagged (very wobbly on the floating bobbins)

engine area full of scary looking spiders

fair bit of rust on bits that need either powdercoating or zinc plating

left engine casing needs replacing (not critical, just cosmetic)

mmk....

Dare one ask how much you paid for it?

I take it you are sticking some mirrors back on? Just more suited to the era of bike.

Other than that looks cool as fffffuuuuuu Smile

i knew it was gonna need a few bits and bobs. its just that sheared exhaust stud that's really fucked me off.

it looks at one point like its had an owner who's thrown some serious dollar on it, but then its been bought by a mong.

ah well, thats life.

Nice project bike Wink

Getting the airbox back on is always the fun part.

I have a spare frame if for some reason you want it. Please take it.

Getting the airbox back on is a piece of piss if you attach it to the carbs and then install as one assembly.

Tried that, it was a real pain in the arse and harder then just putting the airbox on.

Looks teh sex Thumbs Up

One thing I really miss of my 400 was that square fairing design, with Gixxer decals looks amazing.

Oh and as for airboxes, Bandit 600 nearly took a match to the whole damn bike after having to rip it off for the 14th time, was a horrible design wish I had just gone to pod filters and re-jet.
