|
|
i have a derbi senda drd pro mallosi edition 57 plate, it is derestricted. i have a 15t front to 53t rear.
atm the average speed is about 47mph, and the top speed i have got out of it is 53mph. Are there any tips or ways to make the bike more powerful?
i was wondering if anyone knew which was the best exhaust to get for these that will give more power after upjetting?
also, will a racing crank help reach its top speed quicker?
any opinions would be great |

My mates Derbi senda tops out at about 55..
To be honest that's realisticly the most you're going to get out of it, enjoy it for what it is.

I have seen most geared High performance 50's, RS50 , RX etc...
Hit 60mph, just with Upgraded exhaust ( tuned expansion chamber with correct jetting ) Foam filter, with changed sprockets...
It is possble to hit 65 so i hear on youtube but that's just to much money invloved and NOT worth it.
My advice is use it for what it is, then get a RS125

If its the AM6 engine then they're pretty tuneable.
Questions is, how much money do you have.
You COULD probbably fettle 70mph out of that engine. However it'll need a rebuild about once a week & will probbably full on grenade itself once a month.
Not worth fecking about with. Use it, dont buy an RS125 far far more hassle than is worth, if it's got to be a two smoke 125 the yamaha DT's and the derbi gpr's share a pretty reliable lump.
However at that point the standard "buy a commuter and do tests" applys. ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.
