I like the idea of V4 cruiser, if I have a chance I wanna try it someday.

Super Magna
I think this is very good style. and V4 power.
https://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b295/kawashima_/supermagna.jpg

I don't like this type of recent skinny V2 cruisers.
What's the point?
not at all comfy riding position.
too far away foot pegs.
https://www.bikebros.co.jp/vb_img/eimpre/img/139/intro01_b.jpg

I hope honda makes new V4 cruiser with VFR1200 motor.
I also hope yamaha makes new V4 cruiser with new VMAX motor.

If I was honda or yamaha, I would make several models with the same engine.

Don't you think them cool?

Can't say I don't like the way the current V-Max looks.

Whether or not they make something with its engine...
I don't know. There's a fairly limited marked for machines with such petrol thirsty engine out there methinks.

Kawashima, I can understand your reasoning for a cruiser, personally not my type of bike.
I assume this is for riding through towns and cities? I think it would be more pesonal preference as to which bike you would prefer, the Honda is a good bike and you should get better riding from the V4 as opposed to the V twin, if it is the VFR motor it is a very good motor.

But if you're intending to ride through the beautiful countryside of Japan I feel that you perhaps should be strapped to the front of the Shinkansen to make you think properly, because a cruiser on roads like these would be against the law of biking

That's Honda trolling Yamaha. They wait for each model of V-max to come out then release a bike that would eat it for breakfast.

I'm still waiting for my VFR1000.

Basically, I want something exactly like a VFR750 but with a 1000cc engine. The 1200 is an enormous disappointment to me.

I like new VMAX too. I think it would be super fun if there was royalstar venture version with this 151ps motor Twisted Evil
regarding petrol thirsty, these are nearly same as other 1300cc class?

Why not a flat 6?...
Older F6C Valkyrie
https://www.motorcyclenews.com/upload/817/images/bMF6C_19973RA-01.jpg
...or newer Rune...
https://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop/201111/2012-honda-rune-5_600x0w.jpg...effectively both a take on a naked Goldwing.

I'm thinking they'll use that in a new ST Pan-European, hopefully next year.

For me not for towns and cities, but for high speed touring.
I'm not good at twisties and I nearly gave up my skill.
I am becoming lazier and lazier, and prefer comfy riding position.

Well, Ducati tried to do something about touring aspect of Diavel but they ended up with this... (2013 model if my memory serwes me right)

https://www.neocarmodels.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/2013-Ducati-Diavel-Strada-Touring-Front.jpg

I think they're both intended to be power cruisers, and as such are supposed to look good and ride hard, without much consideration for long range riding.
I'm sure you could do something with them with aftermarket bits and bobs though.

P.S Wait... there's more relaxed position than on R1200RT? Shocked

Kawashima, you're a bad man Laughing Laughing you can't ride those awesome roads on a cruiser, when I am over to Japan next I would like to take a sports bike through some of the roads, I would have invited you but I am not sure my reputation would be intact afterwards, perhaps I ride ahead in front and pretend to break down whilst you catch up Thumbs Up Laughing Laughing Mr. Green

You should buy what ever you like the most and what ever is comfy, for touring I would personally be looking at the VFR800, or a ZZR1200

Wow this Diavel looks very nice. I didn't know this version.
I imagine R1200RT is the most tired-free bike for long touring.

Goldwing must be the most lazy and straight fast bike. Maybe good for very long touring too (like across usa).
This must be an ultimate choice. like a car. The only neck should be its weight. I can't imagine U-turn this bike on a narrow country road. Or if I can park it at bicycle space of my rented house Laughing .
I think straight6 models are for persons who has garage at least.

It seems they went with 1200 instead.

There's plenty of concept art/ drawings/photoshops of it though:

Perhaps. I can't be sure as I haven't found any official info on it.
It seems that it was just a publicity gig or something like that.
