Yes, it's that time of month where we get to see that to nobody's surprise, new registrations are down again.

10% down both for March and year-to-date. Peds are down 27% in March and Piaggo and Lexmoto have slipped way down the charts - I guess tracksuits and Arctic weather don't mix? Thinking

BMW had a stonking month based on R1200GS sales, and it's nice to see Suzuki showing in the top 10 again. Although Harley sold more bikes than them, in the snow and ice. Neutral

The good news is that 126-650cc sales are still up on last year, which has to be a positive sign.

Buying my first bike soon regardless of the weather, I think 125 sales will never be affected too badly by weather because if someone has always wanted a bike and had to wait until 17 they are going to buy it as quick as they can after their 17th.

At least we know on thing. Sales can't keep falling 10% forever.

The new partially water cooled one come out in March, and it's heavier and more complicated than the old one, so of course it's sold loads. Wink

Harley get me. I know it's a huge brand loyalty thing but there must be a lot of second hand Harleys sitting in showrooms gathering dust.

Hopefully the price of old GS's will come down with the new one selling well. (Nearly 400 a month is decent rate).

Because I want one, and I like my boxers air-cooled.
