How many ponds Paddy? Was looking at a TL1000R on Monday. Thumbs Up

I'd prefer this over the TLR, I'm a plastic spastic but read they did some things to lop the power and fun out of the TLR. Traded for my R1, got bored of it if I'm honest.

Possibly a little off topic, but Paddy how do you go around sorting insurance out if your buying a new bike every few months or so? Do you not have to pay the extortionate "admin fee" for changing any details (i.e. your bike)?

ebike, I've got 4 bikes insured for 2 people currently. Added a new rider who passed this week and his bike to my insurance for £60.

Removed R1 and added the TLS, gave me back £138, simple. You do it all yourself, no phone monkey to get it wrong.

Thanks, will sound better with 150mm taken off the cans though.. Wink

Very Clean TLS there Paddy! Better than the R1?

It is surprisingly clean, better though. Little bit subjective really. It isn't as razor sharp handling wise, it isn't as smooth either. What it is though is comfortable with a huge range of usable power. True, the R1 could go, any gear, but this thing is ticking over at 70-80mph and you just need to tickle it for some power to jizz out.

I also miss the R1 Laughing but I think my insurance and wallet prefer the TLS... until petrol prices rise that is. Laughing

Srsly? No reason it would get damaged...might need a clean when you get home if you're bothered about that stuff though. How are you planning to get to the BBQ? Still a van?

Also if those exhausts are the same as the ones on my TRX, they are hollow and DO NOT need 150mm lopping off! I'm sure anyone that came to Beaulieu last year will agree, they all had headaches after a mile! Laughing

I would have another big twin, but only if I could afford a big bike for hooning alone. I don't think they really work around town or are particularly nice over distance (VIBES!!!) but they are bloody good on a fast twisty road Mr. Green

Too quiet really. Sounds like a sewing machine at anything over 6k... No G, it isn't a sewing machine Laughing

But the reason for no TL at BBQ is the fact vans are costing ~£150 for the weekend and due to this...

Should be good, tow stuff on the little bike.

Fuck adding more money to shell out when I crash it! I'd buy the TLR for full plastic stuff.

It's a different bike with the power commander!

Looks really nice. Much prefer it to the red, which looked a bit cartoony in comparison.

Mr. Green Good.

I did like the red, but I've always wanted a proper white bike, this is a weird white pearl colour, surprisingly nice to be honest.

Gotta get some wacky wheels on there.

First, gasket changing for the fuel pump, fucker leaks. Laughing

When I properly smash my fairings then I'll have my ZX6R in white too.
