Completely useless grab thingy for pillions which looks like there is a handbag trapped in the seat. Thankfully this is stored under the seat and not on show!

Enjoy... Very Happy

The bike itself looks quite nice, was impressed at how good they look in person. Only at the NEC, I found it very rigid to sit on, not half as comfortable as the RS. Still, I hope your friend is pleased with it considering the price they cost. Razz

Any word on performance, whats the acceleration/top speed like?

Does it sound nice? Wink

[edit] Your mate might want to clean the road salt off it if he wants to keep it rust/corrosion free. Razz [/edit]

There's an article in this month's (or last if they've rolled over already) Bike magazine about them. They rate it pretty highly, though they say 22bhp and est. top speed of 85mph. NU7- Ouch.

Bloody hell mate read my post. Very Happy
Its a 125.
The grab rail is stored under the seat and not on show, we only put it there to take a photo.

Hes got to keep it under 5k for the moment so ill get back to you with performance results after its first service and when its been de-restricted.
I reckon it will pull a true 90-95, the tzr pulls this and it uses the same engine + the gpr is lighter.
I highly doubt 85 as my mates 03 dtr (uses the same engine) and that pulls an indicated 85 and it downgeared (off road bike)

I think the GPR uses the engine lifted straight from the DTR by the look of the cases, as although the TZR engine was almost the same, the case's and barrel look alot different, and the TZR engine hasnt been made for years now. I also imagine that it will have the DTR gearbox ratio's which are likely to be quite widely spaced like my KMX200, being as its a trail bike engine. This may mean less than perfect gearing for a sports 125, but if its as torquey as the DT then it shouldnt be too much of a problem, though it probably has a shortish 1st gear compared to NSR/RS etc. id say it will probably make 75mph @15bhp, but it should be faster than the DT de-restricted. 90mph would sound about right, for 22bhp. The exhaust has to have a power sapping cat fitted to allow it to meet the emmissions limits, and i think they have either EGR or air injection also into the pipe. Both things will have a noticable effect on performance, and a proper race pipe with re-jetting should make at least 2-3bhp possibly more.
