I know its scooter bodywork but, I don't care. I love this new bike and its a million times better than my slow as fuck Piaggio Zip 50 4t.

This is a beast in comparison, runs very smooth, very stable at higher speeds and has good acceleration.

Never tried a Scoot before. Everyone rips on them but that seat looks well comfy.

What's top speed on a scoot then? My YBR was 55mph but 60mph going down a hill.

I've taken it to 55mph so far and it still has a lot in the bag. It is very comfy and pleasant to ride. I reckon it will do 65-70mph and I do love the dials, very smart.

OP, you do have a scootay, but I'd rather have that than a CBF from Victor Devine.

I will get a manual when the need arises and I am ready and confidant enough. For what I need my 125 scooter is just the thing. I am happy with it and don't care what anyone thinks.

Going to get my A1 license soon as possible

That is the key to happiness in life! You are truly free if you don't care what anyone thinks.... you could also be on the psychopath spectrum... fine line. Laughing

Someone asked what the top speed of my aprillia leonardo was. Found a NSL today and let rip, got to 120kph (73mph) before it turned to a 30 mph zone. I reckon its top speed is probably 80mph give or take a few mph either way.

It gets to 70 surprisingly quickly for a little 125

Yeah I did. Very impressive if those are actual speeds rather than indicated.

Guessing its 2t rather than 4t.

Na its a 4 stroke. actual speeds as the dial was at 80mph and I think after riding all week, its 4-6mph either way on the accuracy.

It will hit a top genuine speed of around 70mph.

I will let you know its genuine top speed when I find a clear road long enough.

It is also very stable at those speeds, the wheels are pretty wide for a scooter, wider than a fair few manual 125's. It also has a very nice, large can and sounds very nice.

Take a sat nav and an android/iphone with pirelli super biker app and take an average of the 2.

It won't do much past 70 unless its on a hill, going down.

I will do, even if it only does 70mph I am happy as I have no need to go on motorways at the moment. I am more than happy with this bike.

My Cygnus did 65 flat out but any hint of wind and it dropped off fast, I rode it to Scotland once for the crack (well the boarder) and it was a horrible experience Laughing But for uni it was useful, loads of storage and mostly reliable. I'd never own another scooter though, I'd just put a top box on a geared bike.

That neatly sums up many people I know who ride on motorised 2 wheels (see, no discrimination between motorcycle and scooter psychopaths, sorry free spirits).
