Experience / Budget / License?

Are you right in the pointy end of fast-group trackdays?

There is a sticky which includes a link to a thread called 'So you wanna start racing huh?' I assume you've read that in detail before posting? Wink

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I have a full road licence (28 Years old and been riding since i was 17) i will be doing as many track days as time allows during and after the summer so hoping to get to at least 10 days this year with a couple of Nurburgring trips in their aswel.

I was going to use my ZX12r just for something different but i have now started looking at ZX10r's instead

Not been to a track day in just over 12months so i imagine i would be in the fast group but i would hope after going out afew times i would be mid-top in the intermediate group.

Was trying to get on the ACU licence days this month but dont think their is much point until ive got back into the swing of things on track.

Really i just wanted to know if their are any clubs about so i can go down and have a chat with the members and get some tips for when i start.

Litre bikes will be jumping in at the deep end. Smile With your ZX12R you probably want to go to Santa Pod. Razz

motoforum.net is a good starting place and there's lots of info on bemsee. net

What club depends where you are in the country and if you want an 'easy' club or a 'hard' club. Bemsee and MRO are towards the sharp end.

What group were you running in when doing trackdays 12 months ago?

If you've got any lap times then you can compare these to race lap times.
