Changed the oil every 3-4k on my J1 over the 70000miles it did.

Never once did I 'prime' it and it was still a solid engine that never gave me a problem. Bar an Ignition coil failing.

Another problem on these I had never heard of!

That's a lovely clean J1 Ninja. Rare in silver too! I only dislike the lines of the double bubble screen, otherwise it's very pretty.

My J1 was red and in many ways was the best bike I've ever owned. She took me to France twice, many times all around Wales and East Anglia, and twice to the south coast.

My only regret is that I never took that bike up to the Scottish highlands, as I think she'd have loved it TBH! Laughing

Still mad as I am I'd not swap a mint KMX200 for a mint J1 ZX6 though, as I wanna re-live my 2stroke nostalgia days, when everything was cool, and I don't want to wait to be a 45-50 something paying ££££'s like the Fizzy crowd do to get back to their glory days!

See I like the double bubble screen. Some angles it doesn't look great, but I really think it suits the lines of the front end. It also comes in super handy for my commute, especially in the sodding rain!
