I'm selling my Suzuki GT750L. It's in really good condition for a 40 year old bike, has 31k on the clock & I'm after a fair price, not a daft one.
I've spent the last 8 months doing bits & bobs to it to get it in what I'd call a partial restoration. ie. I haven't repainted the frame or taken out the engine & polished the living daylights out of it like some people seem to think is the right way to go for a restoration. (I'm old enough to remember what these Suzukis looked like new & they weren't polished then!)
It does have fresh paint & decals, new seat cover & I've replaced one silencer with another standard one.
The bad bits are, the rad cover has a small piece missing, the L/H upper exhaust has scuff marks from changing gear & a small ding towards the rear of the pipe & the brake lines aren't standard (I'd prefer to stop than look standard, hence the HEL brake lines), oh & the front mudguard is off a later model if you're really picky!
The price........Offers in the region of £6k will get you this legend of a Suzuki two stroke.
Linky linky to a slideshow of the bike.
