Yeah, its a nice bike in all. Its korean so its built reasonably well, but being a sub brand that no one really knows most mechanics wont touch em other than doing basics.

from what I know of this model. The GT125 and GT250 both use the same frame, which is why it looks bigger than a 125 I guess. But the larger engine and heavy frame means the speed is not as good as other 125 bikes. which is a shame seeing as I travel 40 miles on a daily basis.

I think the frame is from a GS500, it's just an assumption from looking at pictures and what a few people have said, it could well be that the GT frame was based on the GS frame or it's a revised GS frame.

Same proportions at the front, or near enough. I reckon my chumrades's GT125R was bigger than my GPZ500S.

It fell over in the garden yesterday and the RH exhaust mounting bracket snapped in two, new one ordered.

They all do that. Really, that's one of the known issues, a monkey-metal mount with the rear brake pedal going through it and sprung against it. Keep an eye on the replacement, I read of one that failed on the road.

You might also have noticed that the side stand cut-out switch runs through a connector block placed right under the engine. It will corrode unless you do something about it.

Looks nice & tidy mind if I ask how much for? I've been hunting for an NSR as a second bike for years, a friend got a good one for £400 once but everywhere I've looked they seem to go for £1200+

Why not?

If you had one 2 stroke and one 4 stroke i'd get it but I don't see the need to have two other than for love, which there's nowt wrong with

Saying that, could have one for off roading or one with winter tyres
Pretty reasonable

Nowt wrong with having lots of little bikes as long as storage isn't an issue. I have two runners, a custom C90 & a CB100n with a CG engine, huge fairing & massive courier box. I also have a bog standard C90 in bits, a CG125 in bits & most of a CD175 in bits.
I like little bikes me. If I had a big bike my prick of a controller would send me up the road to Brum or Manc or some other shitty place. Besides, tyres, chains, tax, insurance & juice are sick prices these days.
