Aye up,

After being asked this question the other night, I realised my answer is slightly comical. It got me thinking that a lot people on here have probably been nicked for one thing or another, and likely have a funny tale because of it.

Mine: I was waiting for the school bus, think I was about 12. I noticed that the advertisement board on the bus shelter had been left unlocked, so I did what any 12 year old spesh would do - Ripped it out and put it back in, upside down.

2 weeks later I was nicked for criminal damage, taken to the police station, interviewed and given a formal reprimand (read: don't do it again please). Even the copper who dealt with it said he thought it was stupid and a waste of his time but the advertising company wanted to make an example of me.

So I ask unto you, BCF, are you known to the Police?

Unfortunately yes, drugs, nothing really came of it since I was under 18 at the time.

Numerous warnings and convictions for assault occassioning actual bodily harm against various web based forums members for perceived slights against me.

Less so me, more my friend, I'm still known because of it (or may have been removed when I turned 18) was for firearms.

Convinced my friend to bring in his bb gun to school (I sold him it) he did and shot one of the pupils who we didn't like, having a laugh an all.

Well it weren't that funny when 5 police had to turn up after the teacher grabbed it off him.

He had to keep going in for interviews and was kicked out of school and had swob tests taken etc. Was muchos lols I only had one interview, didnt get a warning

quite a bit of trouble in new zealand, but never got charged for anything, which im very thankful for now, an assult or drugs charge would have changed the course of my life,
i had to go to court over here, for dealing with a handful of bouncers,
some how they all ended up bloody and i got locked up Wink
although none of them turned up at court so it got thrown out.

ive been lucky, ive been in some stupid situations and apart for a few beatings from both cops and randoms ive generally come out smelling ok

I know a few of the local coppers and they know me
I'm on first name terms with a few of them as they are the ones that turned up when we were out on the crossers
they were always Ok with us and just asked us to move on as they had got complaints
one time they came down a couple of us had been smoking "Morrocan Woodbine" cigarettes and I know they smelt it just by the look on their face but again they just had a chat & left

Assault (a few times), Affray (twice), Criminal Damage (few times), Firearms act section 5 (1a)(e) and (1)(b).

Safe to say the local cuntstabulary know me. One of the affrays was pretty hilarious, chased a copper out of my house with a sword got it plea dealed down to affray, they didn't want to push a higher charge because he failed to identify himself as police when he let himself in to my house which created a reasonable defence.

Harrassment and possession of an offensive weapon, both of which were not true....

Coventry police, cycling in a cycle lane, yes you read that correctly
Badly marked cycle lane, police officer stepped In front of me at the last minute and I rode into him.

Cycling in the road where a cycle lane was present, cycle lane ran in the 'door zone' alongside parked cars in a layby, officer shouting at me got smacked by a little old dear who opened her door into him

That's definitely a Sec 5 (1a)(e) not a Sec 5 (1)(ae)??

If it was the latter I would have been demanding the story behind it Laughing

Quoting the scripture can be pretty confusing, just moving the () one space either side makes a world of difference.

What was the punishment for the (1)(b) charge? Funny that I can make a "firearm" by pouring some drain cleaner in a supersoaker.

A couple of verbal cautions for drunk and disorderly when I was about 18.

On one occasion a couple of PCSO's found me ~2am staggering along a back lane with a half filled pint glass from a nearby club, and a half bottle of vodka hidden in my jacket.
I was "escorted" back to the front door of the pub to return their glass

In Portishead (where I went to school as a teen), the local police used to try and have a friendly relationship with a lot of the kids.
They tipped our cider away under the bridge *sniff*.

Possession of cannabis @ 15 (picked up at Ashton Court Festival, how embarrassing!)

Possession with intent to supply @ 19

My ex went to prison for the latter, case was dropped against me as they couldn't prove how much I was in possession of, I admitted to none of it Smile

It was (1a)(e)

The (1)(b) got me all of 18 months, I beat a (1)(a) charge at the same time (Juries are weird). Gotta love our revolving door justice.
