Well...

Was gonna happen given the cocky nature, I managed to front flip the bike into a field this evening. Laughing Went out pissing around, can keep the front up in 5th for ever and ever, so thought I'd give it some front wheel action. Ended quite bad.

Being that I don't have a phone with a camera, you'll have to deal with the aftermath pics when I limped it home and stripped it.

She started like this..

Front flip outcome.

I figure offroad tyres aren't great for messing around on tarmac...

So I bought a set of these...

To eventually make something that resembles this.. obviously 2 stroke and slightly older Wink

Also have plans for the current surviving bodywork, its currently sitting in the bath covered in water. Laughing

Wouldn't recommend the 200, would go for the 300 Thumbs Up

I'll update once something gets delivered or stuff gets made. I know someone very kind who has offered to assist the conversion to SM by helping with spacers/relocating brackets etc.. so yeah, awesome Very Happy

I wish, the case had been damaged and as such has allowed loads water inside, so I can't actually put the GoPro in there Neutral

If I had it on, that would make some superb footage.

Front wheel may be a tiny bit off, the bars seem ok, one yoke mount does look twisted but I'm OCD about stuff being equal and straight.

Runs, rides... rode it home like that except it had side panels and a rear plate. Laughing

<shrugs>, don't see the problem.

Wink

Loosen the fork and wheel pinch bolts, knock it about a bit and retighten, probably sort it - while USD isn't so bad, the long travel stuff does habit of twisting a bit, but can usually also untwist easily.

Gonna get my tool kit on it and have a looksies. Minimal tools here you see!

Fancied giving it a ride as is, just whack the plate on my bag or something. Truly is zero things to break Laughing

Unlucky. Laughing I think a nice two stroke hoon machine is just the ticket. I would love one.

I nailed my 250 into a gate once, no footage, not sure how fast I was going,I was green laning and don't look at the speedo, but I had the throttle held completely open, and when I picked the bike up it was in 6th, whether it got knocked up a gear or two when it crashed or if I was already there I don't know. But it scratched my hand guard and bent the bars, which was fine, they were twisted any and I had some taller replacements already in the garage.

It did more damage to me, I landed about 5 metres away from the bike, then skidded down the gravel for another bit, cracked my knee cap and tore all the skin off my left leg, as well as re-breaking my wrist from when I crashed my MTB a month before.

The hospital was the most painful, they said they needed to clean the wound, he went away then came back with a washing up scouring pad. Even with the anaesthetics, I could feel it, I wanted to throw up.

Well, because I'm not bothered with aesthetics but want to reuse the panels until a nice set come up... I pulled out the card and bought £5 worth of matt black vinyl. I have 3/4 roll left Laughing

This is the outcome, not great but shes only gonna get hammered!

<offtopic>

Randomly looking around Google Maps near your house; Paddy; and I notice Biggin Hill looking like a car park, thought "WTF?" and then noticed the Red Arrows on the runway. Must have been air show day that day.

</offtopic>

Have fun with the rebuild! Glad you're ok!
