Bit of news.
Bikes a cat D write off.
Pre accident valued at £3,000 & the salvage has cost me £600.
This means I now have £2,400 to play with
So, plan is now new disc guard, new bars, full DEP system & supermoto wheels. ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

Why DEP if you have a FMF gold? |

Because of the massive dents all the way round the front pipe that i've cunningly hidden & I can get DEP at trade whereas FMF I'll have to pay retail ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

Haha! Nice work!
You have destroyed that in spectacular fashion. I've got an X-Ray somewhere of my collarbone with two bits attached to where they're meant to be at either end then a section in the middle just floating and at about a 30degree angle to how it's supposed to sit.
How long until it's ready to get you back on the bike? ____________________ Current:1991 Honda MT50 (Soon to be a H100/MTX/MT5 hybrid), 1976 Honda Cub C70, 2005 Honda Varadero 125, 1993 Yamaha TTR250 Open Enduro , 2010 Road Legal Stomp YX140, 1994 Honda CRM 250 MK III, 1999 Cagiva Mito 125, 1992 Honda CB400 Super Four, Stomp T4 230, 1984 Honda H100s, 2009 Sym XS125K

More cool injury photos

So im confused. I was told I had wires in it & pins.
I see neither...
Medway hospital have also been exceptionally useless. After delaying my first appointnent by a week they opted to delay it further (4weeks scince operation). In the end I had to go to A&E pembury who re-casted it & noted that the original cast was a bodge up. Very easy to see why theyre in special measures at Medway...not best pleased. They also dont have my post op xrays or any record of me being in A&E....what still really takes the piss most was being refused any pain relief for three hours after the crash & then being offered two paracetamol. Would have been better off stopping at the shop on the way for a bottle of scotch..
Unsure whats required for a medical negligence claim...but they're really taking the piss at the moment and I highly doubt they're taking any notice of the complaints system. At the moment its looking like I need to pay £50 for my medical records to get burnt to disc so as I can get transferred to a different hospital! Seriously considering private medical insurance till I move to a nicer area.
Tl;dr - crash in kent, refuse to be taken to medway. The hours drive to the next hospital is massively preferable than the misery of treatment there.
Also, on a more positive note can almost pull a clutch again ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

Wouldn't say you need to pay the £50, just email the person I did... I'm yet to see an invoice. |

Its so stupid though.
They wont transfer care to another hospital. Other hospital claims they can only offer limited treatment without the records...so really I cant see any way of getting transferred asap unless i buy my records.
Only other option is to go private and thats £££££ ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

No... they would not. It is personal preference.
However, just constantly turning up at Maidstone is enough to get them mad |

they did a pretty good job on stitching me up. All the stitching was under the skin and could only see entry and exit stitching.

I remember those days, after 1 and 3/4 months of cast I was dieing to get back on the bike so gave it a try on the 8th week and could pull the clutch in (painful) so me and 2 mates headed out on our 125's for some fishing. was not pleasant riding still in cast.
get well soon bud! hopefully you'll be riding in no time! ____________________ 04 CBR1000RR, 1995 Husqvarna TE410, 1998 VTR1000(Sold), 1990 XJ600(sold), 1996 KH125(dead and sold) |

Its Medway, pretty sure MRSA is the least of his worries. It is a fucking dive. I went there once after smashing my leg in my first little crash... was blood dripping from the person next to me... all over the floor |

Had stitches out a few weeks ago...

However all is not well.
The bone isnt joining up as expected & I'm expected to end up having done 8 - 9 weeks in a cast total.
Theres also a degree of what I can only guess is nerve damage however unsure how this will affect me...weird shit.
Tempratures I dont really feel as much, pain not so much, and fine motor control is pretty shit so unless that sorts itself out I wont be playing guitar anymore. I cant open a packet of crisps as I dont seem to have accurate control over my fingers to pinch things. The other half finds this amusing, as does Paddy!
I did however ride a bike. Strength to operate a clutch has returned & I rode this up Paddy's drive, put a big smile on my face.

All is not lost - I've been really really worried about not being able to do l/h clutch again ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.
