In some way I do miss my Yamaha R125 (hope its gone to a good home) but this 650 has failed not to be boring. Was out early today and took this. Needs cleaning up in terms of photoshop but was overall a nice day Smile

Needs a few mods though....

Photography tip from when it was invented. Pictures are generally better with the sun behind you.

On topic, glad you're still enjoying 2 wheels.

My brain isn't working this week.

"Failed not to be boring" Huh, Does that mean it failed to be exciting? Or it didn't fail to be boring? Or It was not boring?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I was thinking along the same lines earlier when I first read it. I just didn't have the balls to comment in case it was me and my brain that was potato!

Why on early would you sumo a heavy v twin? You want to look towards the litre "supermoto" or a big single 600+ highly strung thing.

Supermoto and Suzuki will never really happen on a decent scale. Laughing

Agreed, not sure that would suit the v-twin.

I`ve done the 600cc single ( DR600), got fed up with the vibration Very Happy

obviously Gladius would need a little trimming but
the sort that would buy want it for a second bike...
most likely they have summit bigger & faster in the garage so want a smaller bike for urban local short rides... a V twin is very suitable in those circumstances.... rider comfort & style more important than outright performance Very Happy

I'm unfortunately stuck with a 650 V twin as my main bike. Laughing Can't really complain, took it for a cheeky ride pre-MOT yesterday. Gonna be hilarious on the road Laughing
