I have for sale an orange '89 Honda CB-1, that I purchased in April last year.

The bike hasn't been used much over winter, and is currently SORN. I was in the process of overhauling the rear brakes but unfortunately no longer have the time or space to be able to do so and take it for its MOT, as I'm soon moving house and don't have the ability to transport it. It has served me well until it's SORN last month, but now as my restriction period comes to an end I fancy something a bit bigger, which again reduces my inclination to sort it.
It had a new front tyre in October last year, and this only has ~ 250 miles on. The fork seals were replaced at a similar time. The rear tyre has around 5-6mm tread.
The bike is currently reading 43,360 on the odometer, however a KM-MPH converter was fitted 1593 miles ago, as the trip meter hasn't been reset since fitting and has only rolled over once. So in total the bike has done 27,545 miles.
The engine runs well and I've never had any hassle. It starts and runs as checked this afternoon. It is currently restricted to 33bhp through washers in the air inlet, but these are easily removable. The bike has a custom exhaust and sounds fantastic, with the baffle still in-situ. These engines are known for being pretty bulletproof.
There is damage to the rear fairings, tank and front mudguard, though to be expected from a bike at this age. I've tried to document this in the pictures. The rear fairing is loose on the left side, however I have a spare set of rear fairings which are in much better condition, though in a different colour. These aren't fitted, but will be included with the sale. As I was in the process of overhauling the rear brakes, there are currently no rear brake pads fitted. The rear brake fluid reservoir is removed from the bike, as the heads have stripped. I unfortunately do not have the correct tools to remove them, and hence why I've been unable to do the brakes.
I have receipts for parts and the work done if desired, along with the last 6 MOTs.
In summary, for sale:
'89 Honda CB-1
Additional rear fairing
New rear brake pads + new pad screw
Brand new rear brake piston + seals
Spare rear brake disk
Priced at £650.
