My route, bear in mind that it's without the added extra 30mile detours on getting lost.

Well sorry for the Tef like story hope it's better (also images might be too big meh live with it Laughing ).

Anyway started the day all ready to get deep into wales as you can see from the image above, bag is strapped to the back as it has a 1.5 litre bottle of coke in it. Got to keep refreshed on the trip, however the trip didn't get off to a good start on my way to the bridge for the crossing I felt weird so ended up checking my tire pressure. Ended up having Fisty come to my rescue, tire pressure gauge didn't fit mine, they are awkward buggers.

Anyways 9am I was off to wales Stopped to get a picture at Tintern to get a picture at the old cathedral,

Then the old station I'd seen this before wondered what it was didn't find out though today was different, good tip if you are that way and bosting for the toilet they do have one.

Not much else to say really for this first bit, Abergavenny was dead 3 bikes total on the car park, there was no sun though so you can't really blame them. Less photo options just more fun riding (and a bit of boring A Road hills 45mph Sleeping ), missed my original turning to get into the Owl's Nest gives me a reason to go back in the future. Yeah so carried on it was after all an adventure.

Got to the black mountains my photo's don't do it serious justice the scenery is awesome and it was quite ironic that my favorite song was playing at the same time going up and coming down "Bat out of hell = Meatloaf".

Right now after this I got lost a bit, missing my original road to the Owl's Nest my directions I had already written were useless, oh well so I broke the man rule I asked for directions. Stopped at 3 places in all to get the information how to get back on track, one had a lovely dog that instantly loved me and the bike.. kind of a red rocket moment Shocked.. When I left he started chasing after me was quite funny and reminiscent of the BBQ

Finally got information and it sunk in which road I was to go along next, as you can see pulled over for a quick break back pack no longer on the bike, well I was thirsty an it no longer had to be on the bike.

Coming up the Brecon Beacons I saw this beautiful in my opinion misty mountain (ok it's a hill) still quite cool.

Can't see what I mean oh well you can have a closer look.

https://i.imgur.com/mn8NrMHl.jpg

Few images to help anyone if they ever go up the Beacons or just for information.

This was another unplanned stop, it looked nice so might as well. Also I saw a little stream that looked quite cool, meh being someone who likes photography thought I'd grab a shot.

Right now by this time I had been riding since G on the map and I needed fuel closest place that I knew was Brecon so nipped to get some fuel an then have a little look around, as I decided I wasn't doing my original trip I had more time to spare. So visited two places;

one was the ice cream place, sorry I didn't drop the bike in front of any women doing a vlog Wink

The next seemed interesting, I'm not religious however it had some kind of charm...

https://i.imgur.com/DKQCXgrl.jpg

Voila Cathedral.. nice scenic place, an had a small cafe didn't stop for a drink or food just a photo and a trip to the bogs.

https://i.imgur.com/6e289wZl.jpg

Took this after I had filled up normal image you might say, look down... my fault about going where I was but the cashier wasn't bothered about cleaning the mess up after I told them it was there. Looked like a car/or bike had come along filled up then didn't do their cap up all over the place.

On the way back I had seen this on the other trip that I did but didn't stop at the time was keeping more focus on my route, now I knew my route to Brecon I explored.

Lovely castle or it would have been, charging £5 to get in.. nah I couldn't be bothered with that so.

Also decided another stop was in order, ragging a 125 can make it hot and it's my daily transport so didn't want to cause any damage by overheating. So stopped by the station had a look around and found this when I got back, apparently he got lost and needed someone to keep him warm oh I'll keep him warm all right Twisted Evil

Last of all on the way through the Tintern Twisties again I stopped at a smelly village, not sure why but the village has a weird smell every time I go through nice river by it though.

Pictures are oversized causing the aspect ratio to be all out of whack, replace every ".jpg" with a "l.jpg" and they will look better.

Yup only managed about 50 on that road at one point, almost got knocked off a corner though by a car with go faster stripes in the middle of the road.

Wales is awesome, the twisty's, road to Brecon from Abergavenny are what I would recommend and the black mountain road if you are feeling generous.

Personally I used the run as a confidence build up for the Mod1 training on Sunday, kinda worked as well. However when I get my next bike I'm going back to do them again.

Ah, this is where you put it, thought maybe you didn't go Laughing

Nice one, you have similar tastes in photography subjects to me - the picturesque Smile
Yep, churches, cathedrals, abbeys; all fit in with that theme - religion can be a pain at times, but it has given us some beautiful art and architecture - pity Henry VIII and Ollie Cromwell had to wreck so much of it.

A brilliant effort on a small bike, well done to you sir, I tip my hat Thumbs Up

That so reminds me of my first 125.
I had a Honda CM125 and over 20 years later I still remember
the reg number B326 CME
I flipping loved that bike!!

Not mine but the same colour scheme.
