Hello together,

as I already told in another thread, here are some pics of our Trip into the Dolomites / Italian Alps this year first week of June.

Meeting point was an Service Point about 60 km away from Zurich.
From there we drive with 6 bikes to Italy

For Lunch, we where stopped in the neighbourhod of Meran, in the beer garden of the Brewery Forst - it was quit good food for good money

After this we drive with full stomach to our booked Hotel in San Cassiano. On the way we had to cross the Gardena Pass (2136m) in heavy rain and on the top the thermometer showed 5° - Thinking

But as the next morning began, the weather was quit better

and so we started our first daytrip

Valparola Pass (2168m, nearby Falzarego Pass) was the first one

on the way up, i've been driven as first in the group and no 25m ahead of me a deer crossed the road - this was a good start .....

Then we driven to the next pass - called Pordoi Pass (2239m) to have our first cafe break - it was still quit cool (less than 10°)

From there we crossed the Karer- and the Nigerpass and came to the city of Brixen, where we made a short city walk

the Old town

Market place

For the next day, there was planned to make a rest day without tour. But some of us thought, they want to drive a small round Smile

So we crossed the Furkelpass with the small reservoir on top

to a small town called Welsberg to spend some time drinking cafe and refreshments. After the break, we had a break....

One of the motorbikes didn't start again. We had to let the bike piking up and bringing to BMW Services in Brixen. So we where, there again. The starter had loose contacts and must be changed.

Next day was the best day to spend time on the bike in the Dolomites. There where some highlights to visit.

First we crossed the Campolongo Pass and then the Giau Pass (2236m) - already the way up was so beautiful - but be care of speed controls!!!

The group spend time

to watch the scenery up there

unforgettable views also on the next stop nearby the
impressive Mountains of the Tre Peaks of Laveredo

and Lunchtime - very good Pizza at the Misurina Lake
