I've come to thinking the internet must be female as they share the same characteristics.

Imho both are your fault really.

1) Bought something without knowing it was suitable. If its a pair of shoes or clothing then fair enough but a piece of electrical equipment? Nah....theres enoughphotos...specs....dimensions on the internet.

2) sorry...but ordering something so urgent at gone 10pm for delivery next day is imho crazy. ..yeah, they may quote some shite say you can order up to 11pm...but you cant order that late and 100% expect it next day. At that time of night anything can happen to delay an order.

Its shite customer service from Ebuyer...but a lot of your issues could have been prevented with a little bit of thought.

Although this thread is old, Ebuyer used to be bang on with the 11pm cut off time. I had ordered stuff from them before loads of times and it get delivered the next day. It's not really far out for a big online retailer with an excellent logistics network for deliveries, to get items out the next day like that.

All went to shit when they started using Yodel though.

Had nothing but grief when trying to buy a laptop from them a few years ago. Customer service was non-existent, the women I spoke to was seriously snotty.

Used loads of times before this experience and was nothing but great. I now avoid at all costs.

Thumbs Up Used them for about 14 years but the Yodel thing is a joke. I complained about exactly the same thing with shite deliveries and got a refund as you would expect.

The customers service lady said they would feedback to the board about deliveries as she had received various complaints about Yodel and would put a "ParcelForce Only" flag on my account.

That was two years ago and i still get Yodel turning up in their sweetie vans.

Just ordered a router off ebuyer as we need it tomorrow as I go away Sunday.

Paid extra for Saturday delivery... we will see.

I bought a 3Gb HD from them a week or so ago and it came next day. Always been good to me over the years, to be fair.

Edit: It did come yesterday as promised Wink
RE-EDIT 28/10/14: Avoid ebuyer, they really are shit. Scammed me over on a product that failed in warranty with a shit partial refund that left me well out of pocket

They "had" always been good to me too, used them for several years prior to the projector restocking fee incident which cost a lot of money for fuck all.

I used to use them a lot but their pcs/laptops got expensive and they went down the route of enotes only to contact them so now I hardly use them.

Amazon give excellent customer service (if you buy stuff supplied by them) as do BT Business Direct (the business side of Dabs).

If you open a BT Business Direct account you will get your own account manager who will sort things out for you and you can ring to ask for better pricing etc
